Change in the project design:

- avoid the generic project paradigm

- manage the list of files involved in the project

- separate the teTeX front end from the whole project

- cache information

Change in the user interface:

- Separate the model and view parts, allowing different editors view different text files

- add different kind of user interfaces as text editors or PDF viewers

Change the overall application design:

-separate the editor and the viewer, make the viewer a standalone application

- add frameworks to be used by third parties

In rather short term, iTeXMac is planned to integrate both Equation Service and LateX equation Editor.
